Foraging: the ultimate guide to wild food. Learn how to find, identify, and work with wild edibles and medicinal plants found right here in West Michigan with a presentation from our friend Nancy Felton. You will learn how your ancestors used these wild plants back “Then” in history to what are still being used “Now”. Many of the plants, mushrooms, flowers, and trees we have here on earth, have edible and or medicinal qualities. So come and join us in the fun with this introduction to foraging. The presentation is free to the public on August 17, 2022 here at the historical society located at 1807 142nd Ave. in Dorr, Michigan, starting at 6:00. Will look forward to seeing you. Coffee and a snack will be provided.
